Human forms and facial expressions have the capacity to stimulate an infinite number of emotional responses from the observer. I find this experience to be the most fascinating of artistic endeavours; both in the creation of the work as well as in the observation of other artists’ work. The ability to convey a mood, an emotion or life’s impact upon an individual through figurative art has passionate appeal.
