Art has been a lifelong interest for Maureen. Following in her mother’s footsteps, Maureen started to explore the visual creative arts when retirement provided the free time. Since moving to Victoria she has studied drawing and watercolour painting. Currently she is a student in the certificate program at the Vancouver Island School of Art.“Capturing the qualities of light, colour and shape in the world, that’s what it’s all about.” says the artist.
